The GAD-7 is a 7-item self-administered test for Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). It asks the respondent how to select how often they've been bothered by different feelings in the last 2 weeks. The respondent can select between 4 options, ranging in frequency. While being short, the GAD-7 remains a reliable and valid test for measurements of generalized anxiety disorder. It's one of the most common tests for anxiety in clinical settings.
